I have this thing about capturing memories.  I have boxes full of old photographs, albums, and hard drives filled with video clips of our family. It is this memory-hoarding philosophy that I bring to my work.  And it’s not just capturing what people wore to the party or how much hair they had.  My goal is always to capture the true essence, that little twinkle in the eye, that makes each person unique.

Also, let’s face it: only some people love getting their picture taken. To get the “real” out of someone, you need someone who can adapt and relate to various ages and personalities.  I think my parents raised me to be a human whisperer of sorts.

My mission is to make the photography portion of the day as easy and painless as possible.  Heck, enjoyable even.  I’m low-key, easygoing, and a joy to be around.  Yeah, I said it.  I work best with clients who are like me. If you prefer your photographs to be stiffly posed, overly-photoshopped, or all taken from one specific angle all night, I’m probably NOT your photographer.  We move, we flow, we laugh, and we capture the love.
